Fantasy trope and fantastical critter sketchdump

Deviantart's helpful statistics galvanized me to try to prove that I (a) can draw something other than fanart, and (b) occasionally have original ideas (e.g. airy fairy fantasy creatures) . The experiment proved futile; I put together 5 pages, four of which are rather old, and even so most contained at least a bit of fanart; specifically, Tristan and Isuelt are on the bottom left, Red Riding Hood is (for unknown reasons) on the top, and Amara from Codex Alera is on the bottom right. There's also a passe and generic high elf on the top left and warrior maiden on the top right. I honestly can't remember what the lady with the hat was. Otherwise, these weird creatures are my ideas of mermaids, ogres, elves being strongarmed by said ogres, dryads, and faeries.
